Rusty learns why Middle School Matters

Rusty entered his 6th-grade classroom as a carefree middle schooler. He believed middle school was just a pitstop before the real deal – high school. “Colleges don’t look at my grades, so who cares?” he would often tell his friends as if he had cracked the code to middle school.

One day, during a particularly uninspiring history lesson, Rusty voiced his indifference again. “Why does middle school even matter? It’s not like colleges are checking out my grades yet,” he remarked.
